I stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every piece I create. As each lamp is handmade, pieces may vary slightly with natural characteristics that are part of the handcrafted process.

Warranty Coverage

All James Mankoff Design lighting products are covered by a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What's Covered:

• Defects in wood materials or joinery
• Electrical component failures (wiring, sockets, switches)
• Structural defects affecting the integrity of the fixture
  

What's Not Covered:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper installation
• Modifications or repairs made by anyone other than James Mankoff Design
• Light bulbs
• Damage from exposure to excessive moisture or outdoor use (unless specified as outdoor-rated)
• Cosmetic changes to natural wood over time

Warranty Repair Process

If you believe your product has a defect covered by this warranty, please contact me with:

• Your order number
• Photos of the defect
• A description of the issue

Once we review your claim, we will follow this repair process:

1. Parts shipment: If possible, we will ship replacement parts to you with instructions so you can complete the repair yourself at no cost.
2. Return for repair: If the issue cannot be resolved with replacement parts, I will provide instructions for returning the lamp to my California studio for repair. You are responsible for properly packaging the lamp to prevent damage during return shipping. I will repair the lamp and return it to you at my expense.
